Su clima es la sequedad y su color es el blanco.<br \/>\nLa tristeza y la melancol\u00eda pertenecen a la esfera del metal. Cuando \u00e9stas emociones son mantenidas en el tiempo o afloran con excesiva intensidad, indican un desequilibrio que va mermando la energ\u00eda (<em>Qi<\/em>) de pulm\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>El elemento metal rige el instinto de protecci\u00f3n y supervivencia, b\u00e1sicos para expandirnos y perdurar. Tambi\u00e9n condiciona nuestra actividad mental en relaci\u00f3n con la escritura y el lenguaje.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><strong>Un tratamiento con acupuntura puede prevenir resfriados<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>El Pulm\u00f3n entre otras funciones, gobierna<strong> la respiraci\u00f3n, la energ\u00eda defensiva, y la circulaci\u00f3n de los l\u00edquidos<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a la respiraci\u00f3n el intercambio y renovaci\u00f3n constante del aire por el pulm\u00f3n, asegura el buen funcionamiento de todos los procesos fisiol\u00f3gicos y celulares del cuerpo. Una deficiencia de Qi de Pulm\u00f3n nos har\u00e1 mas propensos a los resfriados y catarros.<\/p>\n<p>Los pulmones gobiernan la <strong>energ\u00eda defensiva<\/strong> a nivel corporal, a modo de frontera entre el individuo y el exterior protegi\u00e9ndonos de factores externos como fr\u00edo, viento, sequedad.<\/p>\n<p>El Pulm\u00f3n es muy vulnerable al ataque de estos factores externos, al igual que a emociones como tristeza, pena y nostalgia. Por ejemplo cuando sentimos una tristeza profunda notaremos como se altera de forma inmediata la din\u00e1mica respiratoria volvi\u00e9ndose corta y superficial, pudiendo producirse un bloqueo a nivel del pecho.<br \/>\nAl tratar con acupuntura a personas con <strong>depresi\u00f3n o ansiedad<\/strong> pueden utilizarse puntos del meridiano de pulm\u00f3n que ayuden a liberar ese bloqueo.<\/p>\n<p>La<strong> piel<\/strong> tambi\u00e9n depende del pulm\u00f3n, si la funci\u00f3n de dispersi\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda es \u00f3ptima, la piel y el vello tendr\u00e1n brillo, la funci\u00f3n de apertura y cierre de los poros ser\u00e1 la correcta.<\/p>\n<p>El Pulm\u00f3n ayuda al coraz\u00f3n a mantener los vasos sangu\u00edneos en buen estado y controla la <strong>circulaci\u00f3n de los l\u00edquidos<\/strong>. Un buen funcionamiento garantiza la distribuci\u00f3n de sangre a las extremidades aportando el calor y la nutrici\u00f3n que necesitan.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la Medicina tradicional China en oto\u00f1o podemos tonificar el pulm\u00f3n con <strong>alimentos de color blanco<\/strong> como son la pera, la coliflor o las almendras. Y con alg\u00fan alimento de <strong>sabor picante<\/strong> como son la cebolla o el jengibre.
